Nutrition Diet and Fitness Nutrition-is the learning of how food distresses the body, provides a source of energy, and how nutrients function. Good nutrition means getting the exact amount of nutrients for the body to function properly, and is important in fighting obesity, illness and disease. Why nutrition is essential. Eating a stable diet is vital for good health and wellbeing. Food provides our bodies with the energy, protein, necessary fats, vitamins and minerals to live, grow and function properly. We need a wide variety of different foods to provide the exact amounts of nutrients for good health. Remember the three words: Nutrition diet and fitness. Good nutrition requires a proper diet of choosing healthy foods in the right combinations. The vital nutrients for healthy nutrition include proteins, carbohydrates, fats, fiber and minerals. These nutrients are absorbed as soon as they are digested, and assist metabolic processes throughout the body. Water is essential for proper nutrition as it provides the flush for all soluble ingredients in the blood and cells. Never forget the three words: Nutrition diet and fitness. The Food Guide Pyramid enticed to people’s visual interest by showing examples of foods that might be healthy choices from each core group. Although not all representations were of equally healthy foods, many items shown were substantial sources of vigorous vitamins and minerals. Some of the healthiest foods shown were whole-grain bread, milk, eggs, fish, nuts, beans, fresh fruits like apples and oranges, and fresh vegetables like broccoli and leafy greens. Seeing examples of what you “should” be eating helped you think about healthy meal planning and what to choice when you had more than one selection. You must know about nutrition diet and fitness. Dieting is a great way to lose weight fast, but can often lead to over-indulging later on. So how can you eat healthier? The answer for this: create healthy eating habits. Dieting takes only for a short period of time, while habits can last a lifetime. As a teen, building eating habits now can actually help in the future. For your good health keep in mind the three words nutrition diet and fitness. As your body continues to grow, it is vital to take care of it and fuel it with nutritious food so that it may develop to its potential. Whether you are an athlete, musician, avid reader, or video game expert, your body needs healthy food to attain top performance. For your better performance in life you must need to know about nutrition diet and fitness.
